Okay, so first of all. Big Day Out 2011 was amazing! Even though it did rain, i'm pretty sure the rain made the day even more memorable. This is the second Big Day Out i've been to but apparently it's the first BDO in 5 years where it's actually rained.
My favourite performance of the night was M.I.A. who ended off the night. I loved her style-she came out wearing what looked like a large coat and a giant hat. The crowd went wild when she played 'Paper Planes' and she even chose quite a few people from the crowd to go up on stage while she stood on the speakers and performed. Another one of my favourite performances was Lupe Fiasco. He's great live and is one of the best hip hop stars in the world right now. I also enjoyed The Naked and Famous, Six60, LCD soundsystem and loads of other performers! If you missed the big day out, dont fret.
